I know many of you have ( hopefully* ) heard about the lovely blog Pugly Pixel … but just in case you haven’t, I knew I needed to share it all with you! Katrina is a web design enthusiast. She shares tutorials, resources, and SO much more. With that said – this is a definite must bookmark blog for anyone who doesn’t necessarily have a design background, but wants their blog to look great & professional. Heck, even with a design degree – I still stop by fairly often as there is so much inspiration to be found, too.
The best part?? Katrina has a Blog Bling Kit where you can purchase various photoshop goodies ( templates, brushes, etc. ) at a very affordable price. It’s an extremely easy way to boost your online presence in the right direction. Seriously though, please do check it out. I promise it’s worth it.

I definitely need this help, this is incredible! Unfortunately I didn’t get to go to school for design and/or coding and am self taught. I have also been using my personal blog as a little space to practice. Right now it’s a mess but I’m slowing, very slowly, figuring things out and LOVE to find new sites that share some information and tips.
