I’ve got some more eye candy for you guys. I’ve really been enjoying looking into how people design recipes and DIY in online magazines and shops. People are getting really creative out there. This week’s inspiration comes from the 11th issue of Covet Garden online magazine. I highly suggest you go check it out! Don’t forget to hop on over to  The Veda House to see what Bre has to show today.

Aren’t these colors just fabulous. Rue magazine has done a amazing job with the release of their latest online issue. Lots of color, interior sneak peeks and this really great photo shoot showing everything lovely about being by the water. I suggest you stop by the issue to keep reading! Happy Wednesday!

Look at these colors you guys! Wow. I just recently found this online magazine called Utterly Engaged and the graphic design work within it is pretty great. Great use of color, typography and photography throughout. This particular spread called “We Love Lane” (photographed by Tim Melideo) was among my favorites. I love seeing color blocking graphic design applied to fashion spread where color blocking is being styled.

It’s Wednesday and that means we’re recreating some killer graphic design pieces we’ve seen floating around the internet. Each week I get the opportunity to take a piece of work, study it, figure out how i’d recreate the design, and then translate the process to you guys in the easiest way possible. It’s really great fun! This week’s inspiration comes from Page (a magazine by Face Works Studio) and it showcases yet another way to use typography. I love the freedom of breaking up a work, strictly for design purposes. Copywriters will probably have a fit, but hey….let’s have some fun with it :)

Hi guys! This week’s Recreate it posts is inspired by one of my new favorite online magazines, FETE. It’s a great source of inspiration for throwing parties and testing recipes. Go get inspired and don’t forget to have some fun with simple typography!
