It is with great sadness that I announce the closing of Our Paper Shop at the end of June. After much discussion, Emma and I came to the bittersweet conclusion that our little shop wasn’t something that we could keep up with at this point in our lives. We’re both young and exploring our dreams, which is exactly how OPS came to be. But too much is too much. As much as we hoped that Our Paper Shop would grow into a solid stationery boutique, we couldn’t find enough time between our freelancing gigs to make it the brand we wanted it to be. It’s all about doing fewer things better.

Emma and I have many great opportunities coming up, so although one chapter is closing – many more will come. Our Paper Shop taught us how to start our own business, market, package, communicate, collaborate, and so much more that I’m extremely thankful for. It has been a dream to collaborate with someone so much like myself and I’m glad I can call Emma a lifelong friend. You can bet we have good things up our sleeves.

With that said, we are having one final sale over at our shop until the latter part of June. There are some good deals, so make sure you hit it up and take a little OPS memory with you. I know we both will.

Emma and I have loved all the great feedback we’ve been getting for our two monthly desktop series over at Our Paper Shop! Seriously. Thanks for all the sweet words! With that said, the newest desktops are out for the month of May. While the typographic one is a little humorous, the photographic calendar is sure to lift up your spring spirits! Emma and I have been blown away by the support for Our Paper Shop and all the lovin on our monthly desktop features. April is here, which means that there are TWO new ones on the blog. Thank GOD I have two computers, one for work and one for travel, so that I don’t have to decide which one to use!

I practiced my photography skills last week with some fresh pictures for our paper shop, complete with bright envelopes + office supplies galore!! It’s always fun to bust out my crafting supplies, which spend most of their time in dark desk drawers. So sad. I’m making it a personal goal of mine to send snail mail more often. I love receiving cards and all, but must admit, I often get too busy to sit down and write out a little note. Consider it done!

With Valentines day coming up and all, we thought it would be perfect to have a mini shoot with our newest love line for Our Paper Shop! Sparkles, hearts, glitter, flowers, pink, and chocolate were EVERYWHERE. Emma styled and Marissa Maharaj shot the images!!

One big thing we wanted with our love line was to make it versatile. These cards aren’t just for Valentines day. You can give away a card with a heart on it just any day you’d like, right?? Now what are you waiting for, tell someone you think they’re sweet!!
