Do you guys remember Our Paper Shop?? Well, Sara & Rocky Garza were the lovely photographers we worked with and this happens to be their cozy little casa, photographed above. They have a photo blog dedicated to the handy work and updates of their first house together and I couldn’t be more inspired. This is the kind of aesthetic I dream about when I feel cooped up in our small one bedroom apartment, after all. Most of the big items ( table, mantle, beside tables, chandelier, and headboard ) are handmade with such craft and absolutely beautiful with their natural appearance. Sigh, someday…

I was browsing Etsy the other day for home goods and stumbled across Hindsvik, a modern + vintage home decor shop. I feel in love instantly and thought some of these items might make good holiday gifts. Sure, some are on the spendy side – but there are also little trinkets sprinkled throughout the shop that people wouldn’t usually buy for themselves. How about that Polaroid Land Camera? Wanted. And pretty cheap. Click around and see if you find any goodies!

There was a good 3-4 weeks this fall, maybe more, where I literally did not dance with the idea of taking on new clients. After an inspiring retreat in September, I knew I had to up my business & challenge myself more than I ever had before. Because of this, I needed to free up necessary space to complete everything on my massive to do list. The good news is that I’m almost ready to launch, which means I’m back in the swing of things with new clients.

The above moodboard is for a lady with a lot of style & personality. We plan on bringing that in with fun pops of color and cute details, all the while keeping things clean + simple. My kinda project, right?? Can’t wait to share more with you all!

I saw an image from Pella Hedeby’s home and fell in love. Luckily, there was more where that came from and I was so excited to see little snippets from her styling. Our apartment is currently full of random bright colors, which is cool … but I can’t wait to “grow up” a little more once we live somewhere a little more permanent. This is a good start for inspiration.

I love the minimalism of Gregor Hofbauer’s home. I’ve been so focused on pops of bright colors lately, that it’s nice to appreciate these neutrals in all their glory! Especially when it’s done in such a tasteful way. My favorite part is the art piece above the couch … and how it’s just a little off centered. Turns out it works really well + looks extremely funky in it’s own way. Actually – if you look closely, it lines up with other aspects of that wall. NICELY DONE. I can’t wait until I have a larger space someday so I can really focus on styling & start collecting more things I love. Consider this on my inspiration list!
