dribbble favorites

I’ve been absolutely fascinated by details lately. When it comes to design, those are the little things that make a project feel whole. Whether it’s the little rounded square in the “R” mark, the branch outs of the “brand new week” lettering, or precisely placed overlaps – it’s all done with intention. It feels whole. Lately, I’ve been focusing on just that. As a designer, we get to a point that feels good. But pushing yourself just a little bit further – whether it’s by adding new details or re-thinking composition – feels GREAT. You’ll know when you hit that magic sweet spot.

You know that feeling late on a Sunday evening where the Monday blues slowly creep up? You realize your weekend sped by & you’d give anything for just one more day to relax. Last night, I couldn’t escape those thoughts and woke up just the same, so I needed to do a little exercise before digging into my workload. I scrolled through my most recent pins and pulled out like-minded images. These ones happen to feature botanicals and/or plants, some of my favorite things as they breathe life into any space. As a designer, it’s always fun playing with type, color, & shape – especially when it’s just for fun with no boundaries. We all need that every once in awhile, right?? So here is what I came up with. And now, onto the workload!

Remember how I said I didn’t get too into Valentine’s day?? Well, that didn’t stop me from making a slightly cheesy wallpaper for you all. I mean, why not?? The actual wallpaper isn’t too over the top with pinks and reds. It’s just a simple smattering of love month reminders. Download & enjoy below!!

I am clearly a fan of circles, but you know what – I like triangles, too. And just in case there are circle haters out there, I thought I would be fair and give other shapes a shot at starring in their very own wallpaper. SO, I thought I would make a chaotic pattern wallpaper with a simple color palette to tame it a bit. A cohesive explosion of sorts, right?? Download + enjoy below!

I apologize for the long pause in between releasing a free wallpaper for you all. The time leading up to Christmas / New Years as well as the holiday week sure was busy. With that said, I’m happy to finally have something new for you! I’ll be the first to admit that I play favorites when it comes to circles over any other shape. They can be so bold + soft at the same time, which is what I like most. This week’s design is simple, but will definitely liven up your screens a bit! Download + enjoy below.
