I’m a huge fan of publication design, so I was checking out some book covers the other night and stumbled across Gabriel Wilson’s work. I had seen a few of her covers before, but geeked out a bit at her entire collection! Most of my projects seem to fall in the realm of branding + web work, so when I get something different like this, I get overly excited. I have a few fun things coming up with clients, so consider this a little bit of research!
She does great work! I love all the paintings. There’s something so different and interesting about art like that.
I recently got A Concise Chinese-English Dictionary for Lovers for my Nook! I admit that at least 60% of my decision to buy it was for the title and the book cover. It really is too beautiful – light and sweet. I can’t wait to read it. :)

I love book covers too, and i’m really impressed by these. They’re so interesting and simple. Although Chinese-English dictionary for lovers is a hilarious title because I can’t imagine trying to do a tonal language lovingly.
